Andrea first encountered yoga at 5 years old through her father, a yoga teacher and practitioner. At 18, she began practicing Iyengar Yoga in the school where she studied contemporary dance. She realized then that yoga is not just a physical practice but a philosophy of life that she could begin to integrate into her own. Several years later, she traveled to the Ashram Yoga Vidya Gurukul in Maharashtra, India to become a Hatha Yoga teacher. This experience strengthened her practice, solidifying yoga as an intrinsic part of her life. She has taught in the jungle of Tambopata, Buenos Aires and now in Cusco.
